What makes this a double strawberry breakfast parfait, you ask? Notice the pink yogurt… I turned it strawberry flavored with my Zero Carb Isopure Strawberries and Cream protein powder. I suppose you could also just use already flavored yogurt for your strawberry breakfast parfaits, but this is my way. 🙂 With 22 grams of protein, this is a great filling breakfast that will keep you fueled for awhile. Strawberry Mango Protein Smoothie


Protein shakes plus frozen fruit are my favorite on the go breakfast and I love this strawberry mango protein smoothie! I usually make these if I have to go to school or work early, or before a morning gym session. My freezer is always stocked up with frozen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mangoes, etc. Sometimes I even sneak in some spinach like this one here.


This is my current protein powder, I like it because it’s high protein but low carb. Now, I am NOT on a low carb diet, but I get plenty of good carbs from the fruit I throw in with it… plus chips are my weakness, shhh!!


This one is easy, just put 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1/2 a cup of frozen mangoes and a scoop of protein powder, then fill the glass up with water to get a nice thick consistency. This one has 32 grams of protein in it, 45 GOOD carbs and 3 little grams of fat giving you a nice 275 calorie breakfast. Enjoy 🙂

Strawberry Cobb Salad


This has got to be my all time favorite type of salad & the fresh strawberries at the grocery store
were calling my name this morning when I walked by. I love everything about this cobb salad from the bleu cheese crumbles to the bacon… it’s hard to resist. If you are a bleu cheese hater though, just throw on some feta or gorgonzola instead. Quick fix, no excuses. I use this salad in my sample meal prep plan because when the salad is not tossed, it seems to last a little longer. I made FOUR of these beautiful, protein packed salads to last Robert and I over the weekend. I love it when my lunch is just magically ready for me :).   (more…)
