Green Protein Smoothie
“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” You’ve heard it over and over from your Mother, from teachers & from the television; have you listened yet, or are you still wondering why you get that 2 o’clock nap time feeling? Are you starving by 11:00 am when you’re already stuck at work and missed your chance? Maybe you need a Green Protein Smoothie.
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cup tropical fruit mix
- 1-1 1/2 cups water, start low add more to desired consistency

You have control of how your body feels! As soon as I wake up, I put on some socks, start the coffee pot, and make breakfast (or wake my boyfriend up to make it FOR me). Skipping breakfast makes you more likely to binge on your next meal because you are so hungry, plus how can you perform with no fuel? Breakfast fuels your entire day!
If you have a hard time eating in the morning, I recommend drinking a fruit smoothie. Fruit is full of GOOD CARBS and natural sugars that will not give you a crash like those three pieces of french toast with extra syrup… Plus it won’t give you that ‘unhappy full’ feeling. Drink it while you get ready for work, school, or whatever you have planned for your day.
This smoothie contains spinach — fear not! The taste is so sweet, you cannot even taste the veggies; oh the horror!
Blend all these ingredients together and then add a serving of protein powder. When you add the protein powder before, it creates more of a foamy smoothie and starts to separate quickly.
